Kevin A. Dixon was born to the parents of Nelson Dixon Sr. and Essie M. Dixon(Johnson) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at Holy Cross hospital October 9th, 1981. He attended Lauderdale Manors Elementary, William Dandy Middle school, then Graduated Dillard High school June 2000. He also attended Concord Career Institute to further his education.
Kevin was the life of the party. He was selfless and had a heart of gold. He was loyal and defended his family lovingly. He played a major role in assisting in the care and raising of his niece and nephew Makiya and Tamarius. Kevin also took great pride in taking care of his mom as she faced health challenges in her later years.
Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed laughter and the sounds of family getting together. He was well known for his popular Souse dish.
He was an avid dog lover in which he enjoyed the companionship of his dogs Tiger and Munchkin whom he cared for as his own children. Kevin enjoyed his work as a Security Officer for 17 years.
Kevin transitioned into new life Saturday December 28th, 2019.
He is reunited with his loving mother, father, grandparents.
He leaves behind his twin brother Keith A. Dixon; older siblings Nelson Dixon(Kim), and Michelle Dixon; His nieces and nephews: James, Daniea, Utokia, Jericho, Bon’sel, Makiya, Tamarius, Izaiah, Malani; cousins that he thought of as siblings; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
