After many dedicated years of service, Gretta retired as Home Manger after 35 years. After retirement she desired to have a change in scene so she moved to the West Coast of Florida where became a resident of Largo Florida.
Her Fun-loving and endearing personality could be felt by anyone who had the opportunity to ever be in her presence. She was a sweet spirit that God placed here on earth for a special purpose and that was to give so many a peace, hope, love and uplifting perspective on life. Her love was so genuine that many of her daughters’ childhood friends referred to her as “Ma”. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for anyone who was in need.
Not being able to stay idle for long, Gretta took her caring demeanor into the private duty spectrum where she became an In- Home Health Aide. In her free time, Gretta’s interest included fishing, traveling, laughing and dancing with her children and grandchildren.
Being amongst family and friends was her ultimate joy.
Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, David McKinley, James Edward Williams, and Jesse Williams Jr.
