to Miami, Florida, at the age of six, where she spent the majority
of her life. She attended North Miami High School and went on
to attend Culinary Arts school. Rita became a great cook and
passed her skills down to her children.
She loved all her children unconditionally, no matter the
circumstances. She also loved the Lord and expressed this
through her writing. She exercised her faith to guide her children
and touch the lives of many people.
Rita will be remembered by: her beloved children, Latricia,
Shanice, Jada, Jacoy, Miracle, and Roman; her sisters, Elizabeth,
Nancy, and Annie; and her nephews and nieces, Albert, Kelvin,
