Life Reflections Vinecha Adina Scott-Tucker was born on February 4th, 1938. Born to parents Thomas Scott and Daisy Tucker-Scott. She then moved to Chalky Hill, Jamaica, along with her siblings, mother Daisy, and step-father Cyril Murphy, where she attended vocational school, studying to become a nurse. In 1967, Vinecha migrated to the United States, where she began to work and study. She completed her nursing program by 1977. Her favorite hobbies were cooking, singing, attending church, family gathering, planting, sewing, reading her bible, and building her projects from scratch. She was a Godly person who loved many things. She always welcomed any challenge or idea to show hard work and trusting in faith they would be rewarded at the end of the day. Vinecha loved to have phone conversations; you could always hear it in her voice, how happy she was. She never hesitated to help anyone in need, no matter the situation. Her favorite words were “God will provide.” She was a disciplinarian with a heart of gold. She loved to laugh, and it was very contagious, as her loving, strong, and reassuring hugs were welcoming. Those moments will forever be embedded in our hearts.

Vinecha treasured her seven children, the late Garth Williams, Elizabeth Bond, Angela Naar, Emorrison Williams, Livingston Williams, Sharon Smith, and Vernice Smith-Brown. She loved and admired her sisters, Rose and Marlene, and her endearing niece, Mary Harvey, who she help to raise from a baby to adulthood. She’s survived by: her sister, Marlene Harrow of Houston, Texas. She loved being a grandmother to Terrence Williams, Kimberly Bond, Philip Bond, Natasha Naar, Symone Williams, Marcus Williams, Elyse Cruz, Arlyn Zuniga, Vanessa Williams, Livingston Williams, Jr., Garrett Webbley, Gabriella Williams, Victoria Williams, Francisco De Jesus, Julio De Jesus, Jolie Brown, and Xavier Brown. She’s also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and six nieces and, nephews and their children. She loved her daughter-in law, Dian Williams, and son-in law Anthony Brown, as her own. She found peace and joy knowing her children were happy and how proud her family made her. Although we miss her dearly, God felt it was time to call Vinecha home as her time here on earth had been completed. Now, she rests sleeping in the hands of the father above as we carry out her legacy to love, honor, and respect for each other. Vinecha will be remembered as the loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend, and QUEEN.
